Before undergoing surgery, Nina expressed her nervousness on Instagram stories. In one post, the 35-year-old shared a photo wearing a hospital gown with a candid confession written across it:

“Anyone else get scared before surgery? I’m such a baby when it comes to needles, blood or procedures of any kind.”
